Wuxi Aviation Ground Equipment has been selected as the first winning candidate for Air China Cargo PMC pallet project.

Participation in drafting three national standards
As published on the National Standards Information Public Service Platform, Wuxi Aviation Ground Equipment is one of the principal drafting organizations for the following three national standards:
GB/T 18227-2025 Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Aviation Pallets
GB/T 18228-2025 Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Aviation Cargo Pallet Nets
GB/T 16299-2025 Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Aviation Containers
All three standards shall come into force on May 1, 2026. The company also took part in drafting two industrial standards, JT/T 1422-2022 and JT/T 1423-2022.
FAA Airworthiness Approval & Patent Portfolio
Per public airworthiness records from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the company's pallets and cargo nets obtained TSO design approval from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as early as 2003. The corresponding TSOA certificate numbers are TSOA0019-0002-HD (pallets) and TSOA0019-0003-HD (cargo nets).
In terms of technological innovation, the company has secured successive patent authorizations in recent years. In July 2025, it was granted a patent for "A New Reinforcing Rib for Aviation Pallets". This design removes reinforcing-rib restrictions on guardrail height. In the same period, the company, together with China Southern Air Logistics Co., Ltd., obtained a patent for "A Device for Transporting Air Cargo Pallets", which enables angle adjustment of pallets.
