Ezhou Airport supported 145 cargo flights, a year-on-year increase of 154%; the hub cargo and mail throughput was 6,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 280%.
Since the beginning of this year, Ezhou Airport has opened 7 international cargo routes and increased the number of international cargo routes to Liege and Budapest. So far, a total of 93 cargo routes have been opened (37 international and 56 domestic). On January 23, Ezhou Airport's daily cargo and mail throughput hit a new high since its opening, reaching 5,999 tons for the first time; in the week before the Spring Festival, it ranked first in the country with 926 cargo flights per week.
