Civil Aviation Resources Network reported on September 5, 2025: Juneyao Airlines has completed its 2025 summer travel season. During the summer travel week from July 1 to August 31, the company safely operated over 22,000 flights, carrying over 3.6 million passengers.

Over 4,000 flights were operated on international and regional routes, carrying over 700,000 passengers, a nearly 5% increase over the same period in 2024, maintaining the strong market for outbound tourism. During the summer travel season, Juneyao Airlines averaged nearly 1,000 safe flight hours per day, an increase of nearly 8% over the previous period. Its average load factor was nearly 86%, and several operational indicators achieved steady growth. Its subsidiary, 9 Air, operated over 7,700 flights during the same period, carrying over 1.29 million passengers, a nearly 4% year-on-year increase.
This year, Juneyao Airlines, with its core strategy of "precisely allocating capacity and continuously optimizing its network," actively met the needs of both domestic summer travelers and the diverse international market. Domestically, the airline has increased and added several new "cool" routes, such as Hangzhou-Qingdao-Hailar and Nanjing-Dalian-Hailar. It also launched inaugural flights from Shanghai Pudong to Kashgar and Yining, exploring "undiscovered areas of the Northwest," further strengthening air access along the Grassland Silk Road and providing more travel options for families and travel enthusiasts.

Internationally, Juneyao Airlines continues to advance its "dual-drive" strategy, focusing on both Asia-Pacific and intercontinental markets. The Japanese and Korean markets performed particularly well, with over 2,500 flights operated during the summer travel season, a year-on-year increase of nearly 17%. The Wuxi-Jeju route, launched in late August, has received enthusiastic market response and achieved excellent average load factors. The Taiyuan-Seoul route will also debut on September 16, further strengthening its presence in the northern market. Regarding Southeast Asia, the Wuxi-Singapore route, launched on August 29, provides passengers from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai with a new and convenient option to travel to Southeast Asia. On European routes, intercontinental routes such as those from Shanghai to Manchester, Athens, and Helsinki continue to see increased frequency and optimization, with steadily improving operational quality, reflecting the airline's continued expansion in its international long-haul route layout and support capabilities.
Service has always been the foundation of Juneyao Airlines' brand. In response to the significant increase in the number of elderly, children, and other passengers with special needs during the summer travel season, the airline comprehensively upgraded its "Caring Passenger Service" program, serving over 21,000 unaccompanied minors and wheelchair passengers, representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 30%. Behind every flight lies Juneyao Airlines' attentive understanding and warm response to passenger needs, embodying its "people-oriented" philosophy in every detail.

Equally conveying warmth is Juneyao Airlines' "Cute Pet Flight" pet transportation service, launched in May of this year. During the summer travel season, this service further expanded its coverage, now serving 19 airports and 25 routes nationwide, and completing over 100 pet transportation orders. Starting September 5th, the "Cute Pet Flight" service will expand again, covering 20 airports and 27 routes, truly bringing passengers and their beloved pets together, ensuring a warm companionship throughout every step of their journey.

Looking back on the 2025 summer travel season, Juneyao Airlines not only continued to increase capacity and route expansion, but also, through the coordinated advancement of its international presence and caring service, created a more approachable brand experience for passengers in the process of globalization. Looking ahead, Juneyao Airlines will continue to adhere to its operational philosophy of "safety, efficiency, and experience," continuously improve its global route network, and steadily strive towards its goal of becoming a "world-class airline."
