Postal Airlines increases intercontinental cargo routes

On March 22, China Postal Airlines successfully increased the "Nanjing-Luxembourg" flight from one flight a week to two flights a week. This achievement not only injects new impetus into the development of international business, but also marks that China Postal Airlines has taken solid steps in its intercontinental route expansion strategy.

With the increase in the number of Luxembourg routes, China Postal Airlines' European route network has become more dense and its international competitiveness has been significantly enhanced. First, the increased routes meet the needs of the development of the delivery business, help attract a stable source of cargo, and occupy a more favorable competitive position in the international aviation market. Second, in the process of expanding routes, we have accumulated rich operating experience and rapidly improved our operating capabilities. We have accumulated valuable experience in crew resource allocation, complex weather response, and multi-airport collaborative operations, and can more calmly respond to various challenges. Third, the multi-flight operation mode effectively reduces unit operating costs. According to preliminary estimates, the new route layout can provide 1,000 hours of effective flight time per year, greatly improving aircraft utilization, reducing unit costs, and improving economic benefits.

In the future, China Postal Airlines will take this opportunity to continue to increase and add intercontinental routes, optimize route networks, improve service quality, enhance safety assurance capabilities, and create more brilliant achievements in the field of international routes.

The ATR72-600F is a turboprop aircraft designed for cargo transportation, with excellent load capacity and short field takeoff and landing performance, which is particularly suitable for the small and medium-sized aviation market. Compared with traditional cargo aircraft, the ATR72-600F can take off and land on shorter runways and can better adapt to various airport environments. The flexibility and economy of this aircraft make it the preferred choice of many air cargo companies.
CMA CGM Group bids for Belgian Air Cargo Business
Media reports said that after a Dutch consortium's bid was rejected by a Belgian court, French giant CMA CGM Group suddenly intervened in the bidding for Air Belgium's cargo business.

The court's ruling led to the restart of the bidding process for Air Belgium, with the deadline for bids being March 27. CMA CGM Group also had the opportunity to intervene, and it is said that other bidders also participated in the bidding.
The Air One consortium has said that it will retain half of the 400 employees of Air Belgium. It is not clear what the proposals of other bidders will be, which is considered a key consideration for the court.
