On October 12, an all-cargo aircraft took off from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport bound for Ezhou Huahu Airport, marking the official launch of Zhuhai Jinwan Airport's first scheduled domestic all-cargo route. For domestic air freight on the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, this puts an end to the long-standing reliance on belly hold capacity of passenger aircraft and ushers in the era of dedicated all-cargo flights.
Operating five times a week, the Zhuhai ⇌ Ezhou route enables cargo from Zhuhai and the western Guangdong region to be transshipped and sorted via Ezhou Huahu Airport, reaching more than 50 major cities across China efficiently. Both freight timeliness and coverage have been greatly improved.
