Toulouse, France, September 5, 2025 – Air Ivoire, the national airline of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, has taken delivery of the first of its two Airbus A330-900 aircraft.

This Airbus A330neo, the first wide-body aircraft in Air Ivoire's fleet, features a comfortable four-class cabin layout with four First Class seats, 44 Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy Class seats, and 173 Economy Class seats. Air Ivoire is a leading airline in Central and West Africa, serving 22 destinations across the continent. The Airbus A330-900 fleet will play a key role in Air Ivoire's expansion plans, expanding its routes to Europe, the Middle East, and North America, starting with Paris, France.
Air Ivoire's first Airbus A330neo delivered from Toulouse to Abidjan carried five tons of humanitarian supplies, including household items and school supplies. This was the third charity flight in partnership between Air Ivoire and the Airbus Foundation. The supplies will be distributed to two local NGOs, LifeShine and la Bienfaisance, directly supporting their health and education projects in Abidjan.
The Airbus A330neo is equipped with the award-winning Airbus "AirSpace" cabin, offering passengers a unique experience and high levels of comfort, ambiance, and design. This includes more personal space, larger overhead bins, a new lighting system, and updated inflight entertainment and connectivity.
As of the end of July 2025, the Airbus A330 Family has secured firm orders for over 1,920 aircraft from over 130 customers worldwide. Like all Airbus aircraft in production, the Airbus A330neo can fly on a blend of up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Airbus is committed to having all its aircraft products capable of flying on 100% SAF fuel by 2030.
