This prefabricated hangar, while retaining the core functions of a traditional hangar, achieves a comprehensive upgrade in efficiency, cost, and environmental protection. The project took only 5 months from initiation to operation, shortening the construction period by over 85% compared to the average 3-year construction cycle of traditional hangars; unit costs were reduced by 20%-30%, demonstrating significant economic advantages. More importantly, the hangar can be disassembled and relocated up to 10 times within its 25-year design life, truly achieving "early production, early benefits, and recyclability," greatly enhancing the flexibility and sustainability of the asset.

Supporting Domestically Produced Civil Aircraft and Serving the Strategy of Building a Strong Aviation Province
The commissioning of this modern prefabricated hangar will not only significantly enhance China Eastern's aircraft maintenance and support capabilities in Jiangxi Province but also provide crucial support for the large-scale operation of the domestically produced C909 aircraft in the region. As a pioneering exploration in civil aviation maintenance facility construction, this project helps to further build a closed-loop industrial chain for domestically produced civil aircraft in Jiangxi, encompassing "manufacturing-operation-maintenance," providing a new engine for Jiangxi's implementation of its strategy to build a strong aviation province and promote the development of the local aviation industry.
In the future, based on the Jiangxi pilot project, China Eastern Airlines Technology will comprehensively summarize the construction and operation experience of prefabricated hangars, gradually improve the modular design and specialized management system, and actively promote the application of this model at more maintenance sites, ultimately forming a modular prefabricated hangar system with China Eastern Airlines Technology's characteristics.
