Hainan Airlines Receives New Airbus A330 To Expand Wide-Body Fleet

November 1, 2025, Civil Aviation Resource Network: Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hainan Airlines") received a new Airbus A330 aircraft in Toulouse, France, expanding its Airbus A330 fleet.

The new Airbus A330 features Hainan Airlines' "Dream Feather" interior design. With a two-class cabin layout, Hainan Airlines has provided 24 business class seats and 277 economy class seats on this aircraft. The new Airbus A330 will be seamlessly integrated into Hainan Airlines' Airbus A330 fleet and play a key role in its domestic and international networks.

Hainan Airlines was established in January 1993, originating in Hainan Province, China's largest special economic zone and free trade port. 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of Hainan Airlines' introduction of its first Airbus aircraft. As of October 31, 2025, Hainan Airlines will operate 29 A330 Family aircraft and 10 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft.

The new Airbus A330 can operate domestic trunk routes, regional routes, long-haul intercontinental routes, and high-altitude routes. The new Airbus A330 features the award-winning Airbus "Flying Space" cabin, providing passengers with a unique experience, a high level of comfort, atmosphere, and design. This includes more personal space, a larger overhead bin, a new lighting system, and updated in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

As of the end of September 2025, the Airbus A330 Family has received more than 1,943 firm orders from over 130 customers worldwide. Like all Airbus aircraft in production, the new Airbus A330 can fly on up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Airbus is committed to enabling all its aircraft to fly on 100% SAF fuel by 2030.
